Festive Dolly Dresses

This years I'm up to my ears in Christmas swaps for the dolls, so I have been rerooting 1 doll (and 1 more to go)

of course I can't show the end result here right now, but I used Saran Lamia to reroot her.
I also decided to see if I could make this holiday madness dress from the Adams Harris Pattern Company.
I had some gold stretch fabric lying around, which I thought would be excellent for this pattern:
Then, just yesterday, when I was shopping a saw a Santa dress & hat for a wine bottle!!!!
Well, of course my dolly minded brain immediately saw how the dress was just the right size for Ellowyne:
I had to open up the backseam, and sew in some darts, and add some poppers....
And the hat is just great for Daisy:

Amber the Prom Queen

A few weeks back another girl arrived, and I think she's one of my most favourite girls; Amber, the Zombie Prom Queen.
Opening the box:

The tiara looks quite fragile, but by handling it gently I managed to bend it back into shape:

Here's a close up picture of her gorgeous shoes:
Isn't she just amazing:
When I had another photosession with her, she told me that Ellowyne had knocked her down with Freddy's baseballbat!

Even the back of her dress is stunning:
And of course another portrait:
Amber the Zombie Prom Queen, nothing Zombie about her, if you ask me....

Meanwhile, my Dark & Stormy night Amber (or Ginger from now on), had convinced Ashley (Disquietude) to switch clothes, as this really sets of their eyecolour so much better!

A Website for Ellowyne

Of course it had to come; a website where I can showcase my Ellowyne's and keep track of their names. And also a place where I have everything nicely organised, so it will be easy to find back what I am looking for.
Although I know some basics when it comes to building a website, it's much easier to make a website using a template. So, I went to freewebs, choose a template and got started.

Adventures with Amelia Thimble

What? Another doll? Yes, that's right! I've got her quite a while already. I think I bought her back in June, when she was on sale at the Wilde Imagination Website.
Amelia Thimble is quite a tiny doll, which stands just 4 inches tall. She's made of resin and has changeable inset eyes and is a wigged doll. She's also balljointed, so she is very poseable.
I bought the 'On Pins & Needles' doll.

With help of my english friend Ralph, I also bought her the 'Sprinkled with Love' baking set

A cute little pair of trousers I made for her, which go so well with the baking set
I took her with me on holidays to Deal, as she is just the right size to put in a handbag.

As you can see, she really had lots of fun in Deal, and she also came with us on a daytrip to London!
There was just only a tiny little problem, she had the 'kicky leg syndrom' so it was always a challenge to get her to stand on her own and pose.
Finally I found an online tutorial about restringing Amelia, so I scraped all my courage together, and had a go at it.

There she is, all in one piece again!
Here is the link to the tutorial: restringing Amelia Thimble tutorial
During the fall holidays I had been making a couple of lace nighties for her:

And just this week, I felt inspired to make her a new outfit:
